About Daspion Design.
A boutique conference planning studio founded and led by Greg Wright. Twenty-plus years of marketing and communications leadership shape how we plan events.
Conferences that actually land.
Daspion Design is a boutique studio focused on the parts of a conference that determine whether the audience leaves changed: programming, speaker curation, agenda design, stage and room design, and production oversight. We can run the whole event end to end or partner with your existing producer.
Most of our engagements start six to nine months before the event. That gives room to book venue, secure speakers worth having, and design programming that is not a rehash of last year. We work with trade associations, nonprofits, mid-market companies, and the occasional founder-led event.
About Greg Wright.
Daspion Design was founded by Greg Wright, a strategic communications and marketing executive with twenty-plus years of experience across corporate and non-profit work. Currently Executive Vice President at the Association of National Advertisers, where his portfolio includes Talent and Marketing Operations, Financial Management, the webinar program, and LGBTQ+ Inclusive Marketing. Previously Communications Manager at the American Institute of CPAs.
Greg is finishing a Doctorate of Business Administration at the University of Liverpool. Before that, an MBA in Marketing at the University of Phoenix, a certificate in Producing at UCLA, and a BA in Political Science and Geography at Eastern Michigan University.
He is neurodiverse, and it shapes how the events get designed. The programming makes room for people who take in information in different ways. The room itself gets quieter, better signposted, less overwhelming. And the pace is built so the audience is still with you at the end of the day, not saturated by four in the afternoon.
Two things shape every conference we plan.
Eunoia
The Greek word for beautiful thinking. It sits at the center of how we approach a brief: clarity over decoration, substance over slogan, attention paid to the audience as people.
Neurodiversity-informed
The rooms we plan are easier to navigate for people who do not process information the same way. That shows up in the programming, the pace, and the physical design.
